LmBu
‘LmBu’ is one of the simplest forms designed by RZA. Made from a single material, Ziarat White marble, the tall simple silhouette of the lamp allows the natural materials to be the main focus. Each lamp provides a unique intensity, complexity and ambiance of light, based on the natural patterns and veins running through the marble. The lamp has a heavier, more solid base which not only provides stability but also creates varying intensity of light as the marble thins out towards the top.
The lamp offers a visual duality, appearing as heavy, solid and visually cold when switched off and fragile, warm, translucent and light when lit.
