Tidal - S
Inspired by the organic ever-changing relationship between land and sea, the ‘Tidal’ stool is an attempt to capture the fluidity and movement of water. The stool involves the use of complex 3d software for the design development combined with precisely shaped metal bars that are bent by hand. Each metal bar has a unique profile yet the overall design forms a singular form that gives the stool a sense of visual uniformity. The profile of the stool allows the possibility of multiple additions and configurations resulting in an adaptive seating system.
