Table 105 and Table 69 from the Circle Series are part of a range of products that are the result of an investigation into the relationship between ‘Pattern’ and ‘Form’.

Table 105 is made from a powder coated metal frame and 105 pieces of hand cut marble that form not only the geometric patterns but also the functional/ usable surface of the table itself.

The pattern controls the overall form of the table and the individual pieces of marble provide textural and colour variation as well as create a visually layered surface containing multiple patterns derived from the same geometry.

Table 69 is made from MDF sheets with a high gloss paint finish. The geometric pattern carved into the front surfaces not only defines the overall form and the  number of legs but, similar to Table 105, also defines the usable surface.
